Arapahoe Community College Registration Checklist

Complete the following 12 easy steps to ensure prompt registration for classes. You may print this page, date and check items off as each one is completed.

1. _____ Complete Admission Application online at www.arapahoe.edu. Select the “MyCommunity Education” logo, then “New to this site . . . Click here to create an account”.
   
   
2. _____ Sign up for College Opportunity Fund. You must apply for this funding or you will be required to pay more of your tuition bill. You can apply at www.collegeincolorado.org.
   
   
3. _____ Complete the Accuplacer (formerly CPT) test or submit your ACT/SAT scores at the Testing Center in Room M2280. You may call 303.797.5993 for more information.
   
   
4. _____ Apply for Financial Aid (if needed). For information go to http://www.arapahoe.edu/studentsvcs/finaid/index.html or call 303.797.5661. The Financial Aid Office is located in Room M2115.
   
   
5. _____ Meet with an Academic Advisor to review your Accuplacer (formerly CPT) results and discuss course selections. This is required for all first-time students. The Advising Office is in Room M2210. Walk-in or appointment advising available. Call 303.797.5664 for more information.
   
   
6. _____ Get a 2008-2009 ACC Catalog at Information Central.
   
   
7. _____ Register for classes online at MyCommunity Education. Note the campus location(s) for classes you select. ACC offers classes in Littleton and Douglas County.
   
   
8. _____ If needed, contact Disability Services in Room M2710 or call 303.797.5937 v/tty.to request academic accommodations and for specialized consultation.
   
   
9. _____ Make payment using cash, check or credit card or ask about deferred payments. Payments can be made online or at the Cashier’s Office in Room M2300. For more information call 303.797.5638.
   
   
10. _____ Get a Parking Permit and Student ID from Campus Police, Room M2600. Take a copy of your schedule and paid fees receipt.
    
    
11. _____ Get your Student Handbook at Student Affairs, Room M2825 or view online at http://www.arapahoe.edu/studentsvcs/studentlife/handbook.html. This Handbook is your guide to campus information and student rights and responsibilities.
    
    
12. _____ Go to the Bookstore, Room M1200 to purchase books. Take a copy of your class schedule. For more information, call 303.797.5676.
