ACC Commencement Ceremony A Success

At the 2009 ACC Commencement Ceremony, Karin Blaske, two-time ACC Faculty Member of the Year, gave the keynote address. Charlotte Mattsson gave the student speech, and Elmer Hrbaly gave the invocation.

Karin has served the College since 1994 as a faculty member, chair of Developmental Studies and dean of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. Charlotte came to the United States from Finland in 2005 and started at ACC in fall 2007, working on an Associate degree in business management. She also is a part-time office assistant in the Student Affairs Office, former president of the International Club and a member of Student Government and Phi Theta Kappa.

The ACC Foundation gifted students receiving certificates and Associate degrees with an ACC Alumni Association tote bag, filled with College swag, discounts, and a reminder to attend the First Annual Alumni Association meeting on August 13, 2009.
