Satellite Downlinks: Arapahoe Community College

Catering & Equipment | Guidelines | Media Equipment | Personnel Services | Rental Fees | Satellite DownLinks | Waring Theater

ACC has the capability to receive a satellite signal for Satellite Downlinks. The client will provide the College with all downlink technical information (i.e. name of satellite, broadcast band, etc.) The client is also responsible for procuring the site license and paying those charges along with providing the College with a copy of the site license. Satellite Downlinks have an initial charge of $300 and technical assistance is an additional $25 per hour with a two-hour minimum required. Room charges vary with the type of room being requested (See Rental Charges) and follow the same rental price as without a Satellite Downlink.

Reception of the broadcast signal can be affected by weather, equipment breakdowns, or other events beyond the College’s control. While the College will make every effort to provide reception of the signal and retransmission to the on-campus location on the date and time indicated, the College is not responsible for weather or other events beyond the control of the College which may affect reception the day of the telecast nor is the College responsible for equipment failure. Satellite Downlinks must be scheduled at least four weeks prior to the scheduled Satellite Downlink date.
