This position will provide instruction in Sports Psychology, Exercise Physiology, Skills and Methods of Teach Weight Training and Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries according to established pre-designed course materials and syllabus. This position is responsible for teaching assigned classes in keeping with community college philosophy while upholding the values of the college and abide by all relevant college and CCCS and SBCCOE policies and procedures. The instructor is responsible for delivering material in compliance with program material, grading, arranging field trips, setting up and preparing for labs, returning e-mails/phone calls, being available for students during office hours and being a part of the HUP/EHS advisory committee. In addition, the instructor will evaluate student performance in accordance with student learning outcomes as stated in the course syllabus, maintain accurate records of attendance and grading of students, and submit required records according to published deadlines as well as conduct student evaluations of instruction as required by the college. This position requires 4,000 hours of direct experience in the field for credentialing that is required for this position once hired. The hours of this part time position are noon-5pm on Tuesday and Thursday. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

At the beginning of the course, the instructor will provide students and the Department with a syllabus for the course, attend departmental/divisional/instruction-wide meetings, and required faculty development activities such as New Instructor Orientation. In addition, the instructor will evaluate student performance in accordance with student learning outcomes as stated in the course syllabus, maintain accurate records of attendance and grading of students, and submit required records according to published deadlines as well as conduct student evaluations of instruction as required by the college. The Paralegal Program is seeking qualified instructors for possible openings in fall or spring semester. Instructors may be needed to teach day or evening classes in one of the following areas: Business Law, Legal Computer Applications, Litigation, Property and e-Discovery. Applicants must supply a resume with includes information about the applicant's experience working with paralegals. Preference will be given to licensed Colorado attorneys with three to five years' legal practice or paralegals with five or more years of legal experience. |

The Arapahoe Community College ("College") is a state system community college governed by the State Board for Community Colleges and Occupational Education ("Board"). The Board requires the College to comply with the Drug Free Schools and Communities Amendments of 1989 (PL 101-P226 in Federal law).
