Join us for a unique, fun, art-filled community event held by the Arapahoe Community College Foundation. Fantastic chalk art unfolds on the sidewalks while musician’s play, children frolic and adults enjoy! A group of judges will be assembled and prizes will be awarded in a number of categories including amateur, professional, age group, original design, and use of color for the chalk drawings designed at the event. This is the inaugural Chalk Art Festival and is the first of its kind to incorporate professional and student chalk art design in one place!

Education will be the main theme for the event. Students and faculty from K-12 and Higher Education will be encouraged to participate. ACC Department/Program booths and/or sponsor booths will be designed to be an interactive educational experience (e.g. Face painting for art students, Nursing Simulation Man demonstrations, Alchemy Club magic show, etc).

The event will include a VIP event on Friday Sept. 10, followed by the community festival on Saturday Sept 11. Sponsors will have opportunities to market and promote at both of these fun events.
